7 Benefits of our 7-oz. Butcher Frocks

Food processing clothing is essential to not only protecting workers from the hazards of their environment, but protecting the safety of food product as well. We at BPD are proud to supply the best-selling frocks in the industry, proving time and time again that they are up to the task of protecting your team and your product. Check out these seven features and benefits that help enhance the performance and safety of our 7-oz. Butcher Frocks while enhancing safety in your facility.

Durable Construction
For hygiene purposes, food processing uniforms should be worn only once before washing. It’s important that they be made of durable and long-lasting materials to hold up to frequent laundering and the other demands of processing environments. Our frocks are made of a 7-oz., easy care permanent press 65/35 poly cotton blend. This material is light and comfortable for extended wear, while also providing strength that resists damage which can potentially lead to employee exposure or other contamination risks.

Front Snap Closure
These frocks are equipped with nickel-plated dome snaps. Snaps are ideal for food processing environments over buttons, as a loose button can contaminate your product and ruin an entire production run. Snaps are also valuable for worker safety, allowing for quick and easy removal in case of a spill or other hazardous incident.

Color-Coding
Color-coding your facility is beneficial to staying organized while helping to prevent cross-contamination and other hazard risks (Learn more here.) Our butcher frocks are available in five distinct colors to help comply with your plan. Choose from Dark Blue, Light Blue, Brown, Burgundy and Medium Gray. Looking for additional color options? See the customization section below!

Pockets
Frocks are equipped with four outside pockets to help workers store additional tools, materials or PPE needed to perform their tasks. Two slide slits also allow access to pant pockets for even more convenience and ease-of-use.

Fitting
These long-sleeved frocks extend to wrists and fall just below the knee of the worker, helping to eliminate cross contamination risks from exposure of skin or clothing. The frocks’ roomy bell-shape eliminates the need for a slit back while allowing the range for wearers to move about comfortably and without restriction.

Made in the USA
These frocks are proudly made in Wetumpka, Alabama by a family-owned company, so you know you can expect the finest quality and performance!
