Chuck Bildstein has been recognized as one of the top influences in Humane Animal Handling. He has worked closely with Temple Grandin, Ph.D., in the area of humane stunning and was part of the AMI team that traveled to Washington, D.C. to present at a congressional briefing on animal welfare. He has also lectured at various universities in the U.S. and Canada.

Bildstein is leading our efforts by working alongside many of our customers in their plants to significantly improve the welfare of their animals. Bildstein understands how critical equipment and training is to animal welfare and he takes pride in helping plants work through concerns and issues. In addition to helping processing plants, Bildstein also assists with on-farm euthanasia. BPD’s equipment is extremely portable, proving it to be ideal for applications on the farm for producers as well as for veterinarians.
